Class 1 continued their work on mapping by following their maps around the village and adding places of interest. They added more illustrations to their large class map.

Class 1 are making pictorial maps of our village. This morning they drew the church, the shop and the school.

Class 3 heard a story today about some ancient, dusty books that were found in a locked chest. The books were about St Mabyn church. The children are going to ask and answer questions about the church and create their own books. They started their research this afternoon in the sunshine.

Stone Age people. Y2 and Y3 made Stone Age people dancing and hunting.

Life in the coldest parts of the world. Class3 have made models showing life in the Arctic, Antarctic, Himalayas,Alps and other icy places.
