Parent Governor vacancy

Understandably , Mrs Jenny Trethewey , has resigned as a Parent Governor, now that Mollie has transferred to secondary education. We thank her very much for all her hard work and support as a Governor.
So we are looking for a new Governor—this could be a wonderful opportunity for you to become more involved with the school. Further information regarding the role of Governors and how to be nominated will follow shortly. If anyone would like further details please contact the Headteacher.

Sense of Place

Sense of Place - The children enjoyed a wonderful day of storytelling and drama with Will Coleman last week. We hope this will inspire them in their own creative writing and poetry.
The photograph shows Will Coleman with ex-St.Mabyn School pupil Jago who illustrated Will's first three books.

Minions poem

Monstrous as a mammoth
Meandering across the moor,
Endless as a stormy sky
Rushing towards you,
Old as the world
Spinning like the Cheese Wring,
Blinding as fog
Creeping between the Hurlers,
Dazzling as the sun
Glinting on the Rillaton cup,
Crazy as the Devil’s chair
Teetering on the edge.
