Understandably , Mrs Jenny Trethewey , has resigned as a Parent Governor, now that Mollie has transferred to secondary education. We thank her very much for all her hard work and support as a Governor.
So we are looking for a new Governor—this could be a wonderful opportunity for you to become more involved with the school. Further information regarding the role of Governors and how to be nominated will follow shortly. If anyone would like further details please contact the Headteacher.

Sense of Place
Sense of Place - The children enjoyed a wonderful day of storytelling and drama with Will Coleman last week. We hope this will inspire them in their own creative writing and poetry.
The photograph shows Will Coleman with ex-St.Mabyn School pupil Jago who illustrated Will's first three books.

St Mabyn C of E School Tennis club has been given tennis equipment worth £250. The club is one of 55 around the country to get the kits from the national charity 4Children. The kits have been awarded as part of a scheme to help children who might not normally have the chance to play tennis get involved in the sport.
