Sense of Place Garden

The `Sense of Place Garden` is developing well. A willow pod is being erected at the beginning of this term and we have received planning information for the pagoda outdoor learning classroom. This will be erected in February - in time for the official opening!

Yellow Pages

The school will be taking part in this scheme once again this year to recycle the directories. We can collect directories from homes and places of work so please start collecting!

School Dinners menu

Angela Renals is doing a superb in the kitchen and pupils are obviously enjoying school lunches.

Emergency School Closure

Weather conditions at this time of year can cause schools to close with little warning. We were `caught out` in November 2006 so at least we can be prepared this time! We wish to reassure parents that `school closure` would only be undertaken in extreme circumstances. If the school is to be closed before the morning session time information regarding this will be sent to `Radio Cornwall` for broadcasting. Should conditions deteriorate while the school is in session all the children will remain safely at school until parents are able to collect them. Information regarding closure will be passed to `Radio Cornwall` and parents will be asked to collect children as soon as possible. Now that we have a plan we will probably not need it !
