Family Life!
As part of the Extended Schools agenda, Ruth Adams will be available at St Mabyn C of E School on Wednesday afternoons from 2.30pm, commencing on Wednesday 4th October 2006, to speak to you about any issues surrounding parenting and family life and to offer support and a friendly face to share any problems you may have. Please do welcome her even if there are no problems!
School Security
The safety and well being of all the children is our greatest concern. The children know that the use of the five barred gate as an entry or exit to the school is not allowed. There is so much traffic in the narrow lane especially at pick up and drop off times. It is only a few steps into the playground via the small gate and much safer for all concerned. If a few parents use the five barred gate then it `snowballs` and everyone will use it... endangering the children who will continue to use this route when not accompanied by parents.
In the interest of pupil safety it would be greatly appreciated if all parents would comply with this request.

Cornish Harvest Tea!
Thank you so very much for your support of this event. The food items were delicious and `thunder and lightning` created much discussion - is it honey and cream or treacle and cream on splits! We do hope you all enjoyed the occasion. £146 was raised for `Food Aid` - wonderful, thank you so much for your generosity.

It`s walk to school week!
The challenge is to take steps to keep healthier and enjoy the outdoors. The children are keen to take part and will be asking parents if they would park just down the lane at Kellow`s farm and walk to school. Have you seen the mill wheel ?
