Classes 2 and 3 sang and played their instruments as part of the Christmas concert.

The whole school enjoyed games in the village hall.

Measuring

Class 1 made some very long paper chains. The longest was 8 metres long.

Class 2 made Nativity figures using paper and fabric.

Textile art

Class 3 made drawings of plants which they turned into patterns and then into textile designs. They used printing, dying, batik and sewing to create these squares.

Sikh Day

Bollywood dancing

The whole school has been learning about India. Sarah Jarvis came to teach them Bollywood dancing and Daya brought beautiful clothes for them to to dress in. She also taught them about Sikhism and made curries and chapatis.

Midwinter festival

Class 2 planned a midwinter celebration. They composed their own music and choreographed a dance.

The children made head dresses, jewellery and decorations for their celebration. They researched and imagined life in early Cornwall.
