Children in YR worked together to make a map of their favourite places.
Class 1 visited Lavender Cottage garden to look for signs of Spring. They found tadpoles in the pond, blossom on the fruit trees, vegetables beginning to grow, spring flowers, ducks and hens laying eggs and bees collecting pollen.
Class 1 have been making 3D maps of their favourite places.
Class 3 created collages from their observational drawings of the church.

Class 1's rain poem
As it was such a wet day, class one's learning was all connected to rain. Some children made umbrellas, some made rain sticks and some wrote poems about the rain.

Class 1 painted Spring flowers.
Class 2 have been creating piskies in the garden.
Class 3 have been turning their drawings of the church into prints.

Children in class 1 drew some of the leaves, flowers and buds that they had seen on their walk.

Class 1 are continuing to map S Mabyn. Today they went for a walk and added signs of Spring to their maps.
Class 2 spent the afternoon listening to Cornish stories, using drama games to retell stories and making stick people piskies.
