String Quintet inspire pupils with their Musical performance
Children at St. Mabyn School were enraptured with the performance of
string instruments played by the Cornwall Music Service. Many children at
the school already learn an instrument: flute, clarinet, saxophone,
guitar, drums and recorder but it is hoped more pupils will take up the
learning of a string instrument. Millie is the only pupil to learn the
cello at St. Mabyn School. She is a member of the Trigg String Orchestra
run by Barbara Degener. Millie learnt she had passed her Grade 2 cello
exam with merit and was presented at school with her certificate by
Barbara.
